La Medusa e il Calamaro sono tra i 15 modelli in scala 1:1 che Artescienza ha realizzato nel 2014 per il Museo di Storia Naturale di Shanghai in Cina. Gli organismi sospesi al soffitto rappresentano un Calamaro gigante (Architeuthis dux) il cui mantello è pari a 60 cm, la medusa dalla criniera di leone (Cyanea capitata) dal diametro di 2 metri
